The Civic Engagement Committee empowers SteerFW members to be informed, active participants in their community and local government. We create opportunities to engage in civic dialogue, connect with city leaders, and advocate for positive change. Our mission is to inspire the next generation of leaders to show up, speak out, and shape the future of Fort Worth.
Our Team.
Erin Louis has been involved with SteerFW since 2023 when she graduated from Keyholders and currently serves on the Board as Secretary and Civic Engagement Committee Co-Chair. Professionally, Erin works in finance leadership in Fort Worth and brings organizational precision and fiscal perspective to her service on the Board. She has lived and worked in Fort Worth for nearly a decade and remains committed to strengthening the city’s civic and nonprofit ecosystem.
Mike Plucinski has been a SteerFW member since 2022 and graduated from the Keyholders Class of 2025. He is serving his first year on the Board with the Civic Engagement Committee. Originally from Florida, Mike moved to Texas in 2010 and to Fort Worth in 2016. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and an MBA from the University of Central Florida. Mike and his wife Lauren joined SteerFW and completed Keyholders together. In their spare time, they enjoy traveling, exploring local food and breweries, biking along the Trinity Trails, and walking their dog Yoshi in the Arlington Heights neighborhood.
